Maple Computer Corporation was established in August, 1991. For the first 8 years since its establishment, Maple was dedicated to develop and manufacture peripheral products for IBM AS/400 and ES/9000 systems, specializing in double-byte products and other special single-byte language products for IBM5250 and IBM3270. Because of the high quality of Maple's products, IBM Taiwan used to choose the Maple 5250C Emulator, SDLC Card and Terminal (Chinese Double Bytes) as IBM's Vendor Logo Hardware. In 1999, Maple pioneered the development of Ethernet terminal ET2000 with TN5250, TN5250E, TN3270, TN3270E, VT100/VT220 emulations to replace traditional Twinax/coax Terminal and ASCII Terminal. With our solid foundation on the development of networking products, Maple now is dedicated to design Windows based terminal ThinClient, including Windows CE (CE6), Windows XP Embedded (XPe), Windows Embedded Standard 2009, Windows Embedded Standard 7, and Ubuntu Linux Embedded thin client. The latest generation products of Maple Computer enables simple, reliable, and elegant access to IBM iSeries (AS/400), zSeries , pSeries, UNIX and MicroSoft / VMware / Citrix virtualization Servers.
